How I Data Recovery Services From Burned Mobile

I’ve been dragging this server for 3 years… I was seduced by the good reputation of the brand, the sleek design and the Data Recovery Services silent cooling. Finally, for a NAS of 5 disks of 2TB, it had a good capacity / price ratio. I had even bought two (1 for the office, 1 at home).

I had many disappointments: as soon as it was put into service, very slow network connection speeds, even in Gigabit Ethernet. A few months later, the low-quality Data Recovery Services hard drives failed one after the other (it was during the summer, and LaCie told me it was probably due to the heat.

The design is nice, but not enough to ensure the cooling of the 5 hard drives if it is used 12 hours a day! Let’s be direct, if you are considering buying one, I recommend QNAP or SYNOLOGY. The slowness of the 5Big’s connections, even in Gigabit Ethernet, does not allow us to work correctly on the network on images in Adobe Lightroom, which was our main use.

I know they stopped selling this machine in 2014, and only Thunderbolt versions are still on sale, and those Wikipedia have much faster access times than Ethernet. It remains to be seen whether the quality of the supplied discs is up to par.

I did not know at the time of my purchase that there are great varieties of hard drives, with estimated lifespans that range from simple to triple!
